Gouiri, Greenwood Fire Marseille to 5-1 Win Over Saint-Etienne

Amine Gouiri bagged a brace, and Mason Greenwood continued his fine goalscoring form as Marseille thumped struggling Saint-Etienne 5-1 on Saturday, tightening their grip on second place in Ligue 1 behind Paris Saint-Germain.

Gouiri, who joined from Rennes in สมัคร ufabet กับเรา รับโบนัสทันที January, netted his first goal for the club, opening the scoring before the break and adding a second in the rout.

Greenwood doubled Marseille’s lead from the penalty spot early in the second half, taking his Ligue 1 tally to 14—only PSG’s Ousmane Dembélé has scored more with 16.

Amir Murillo and Adrien Rabiot, who has now scored in three consecutive games, also found the net, while Lucas Stassin grabbed a late consolation for Saint-Etienne.

The win leaves Marseille seven points behind PSG. Who play Toulouse later on Saturday, but more crucially, nine points clear of their nearest challengers, Nice and Monaco.

Mason Greenwood could still return Manchester United this summer following his loan spell at Getafe.

Getafe head coach Jose Bordalas has indicated his willingness to discuss a loan renewal for next season but the club cannot afford a permanent deal.

United are rumoured to be open to a sale, but they are less keen on a loan agreement, due to the lack of certainty of his next career move, and the latest  indicates all options are on the table.

The 22-year-old will head back to Manchester from Madrid at the end of the campaign and consider his options for next season.

Saint-Etienne, meanwhile, remain in the relegation zone, facing a real battle to avoid an immediate return to Ligue 2.
